BLOG #9 : An Easter Poem.

ONE KISS IS ALL I ASK

Judas:

I am your most loyal servant

How can I refuse?

Jesus:

Come my love

Don’t be hard on me

Judas:

I hear the high priests singing

The women of Jerusalem are already weeping

Jesus:

Kiss me Judas, let me hear your savage sighs.

Kiss me with your thorny breath, prick my lips

Let my blood trickle into the corners of your mouth.

Judas:

Fill me with your crimson torrent.

Jesus:

Go now beloved

You know what to do.

Judas:I’ll meet you tonight near the olive press

at Gethsemane.

Jesus:

One kiss is all I ask.
