Fresh from serenading Australia with a truly apocalyptic version of Dragon's

Perhaps it was an "act of grace" from the long departed Jimmy, a member of the Yorta Yorta people, who never received a single sorry from any politician or maybe it is true, you really can speak to Jesus on the royal telephone.
Whatever the source of the grace, The Faith Tones (Becky Seidler, Marilyn Seidler, and Rosalie Wolff ) a close harmony trio, whose 1964 cult classic album "Jesus Use Me" has been described as the genesis of the Hillsong sound,were so impressed by the PM's Sixty Minute's appearance they offered to reform and hit the forthcoming federal election trail as "Scott and The Faith Tones."
" It will be a sell-out, standing room only tour to end all tours", beamed The Faith Tones manager Jamie "Swipe for Jesus" Wolff, god-son of Rosalie. Wolff went on to proclaim " The girls may be in their 90s but they still pack a prayer. And who better to push the pulpit but Australia's very own man of faith, Scotty. We'll deck him out in his favourite barbeque stained Hawaiian Shirt, smarten him up with a bit of auto-tune, hand out free hoses to the audience at interval and how to vote cards for an encore.... And I can confirm today a major coup. Vladimir Putin and Barnaby Joyce have agreed to join Scott and The Faith Tones on stage (Vladimir says he may have to do his bit via satellite from Ukraine) for a faith shaking version of Leonard Cohen's winner "I'm Your Man"
The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement saying the PM was considering the offer but if he did take to the stage, there would be no hoses and not an Hawaiian shirt in sight.
