Humanity is in transition. There will be darkness and suffering.
There will be light and love. There will be miracles and wonder.
At such a time bear witness to the songs of love and war.
Letting go of fear and lament, letting go of right and wrong
Summon your ancestors, turn within and sing out your shadow, sing out your pain.
Sing for what is passing and will never be again.
Sing the sunrise and the sunset with great tenderness, that the miracle of birth
Grants the boon of one more gaze. Here near the well at the edge of the world
We stand unbowed in service to the song.
We are the song.
